The ENLAR Site-Specific Compliance Guidebook provides a concise and easy-to-understand summary of the requirements applicable to your organization. Role in an Environmental Management System Section 4.3.2 of ISO 14001 requires that the organization develop a procedure to "identify and have access to legal and other requirements to which the organization subscribes, that are applicable to the environmental aspects of its activities, products or services." These identified legal requirements must be taken into account in establishing, implementing and maintaining your management system. Section 4.5.2 of ISO 14001 requires that procedures be put in place to periodically evaluate your compliance with those legal requirements that have been identified.
